Software for solar and battery installers

Solar installer software from proposal to grid connection

Quote systems with options, track installs and paperwork, and keep every customer's system on record.

What should solar and battery installers look for in job management software?

Solar and battery installers need software that produces clear system proposals with options, manages installs through to grid connection paperwork, and keeps each customer's system details for warranty and servicing. Getinto handles quoting, scheduling and invoicing, and we build custom system sizing and proposal tools for larger installers.

Accreditation and STCs for solar installers

To claim Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), solar and battery installers and designers must be accredited by Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), which took over accreditation from the Clean Energy Council, and installers must hold an unrestricted electrical licence in their state. The PV modules and inverters must be on the Clean Energy Council list of approved products. The Clean Energy Regulator also requires installers to attend three stages of each install and keep dated photo evidence. Source: Clean Energy Regulator.

One job, from first call to paid

How a typical solar job moves through Getinto.

  1. Lead

A call, web form or Facebook message becomes a lead with the customer's details, address and photos attached.

  2. Quote

Build the quote from your price list and kits on your phone, add photos and options, and send it before you leave the driveway.

  3. Job

Accepted quotes drop onto the calendar. Your crew gets the address, notes, SWMS and materials on their phone.

  4. Invoice

Time, materials and variations from the job flow straight onto the invoice. One tap sends it and syncs to Xero or MYOB.

  5. Paid

Customers pay by card from the invoice link. Overdue reminders go out automatically, so you stop chasing.

Common questions

Can I offer customers solar system options?

Getinto can offer solar customers system options. Build a proposal with several system options, such as panel count, inverter brand or battery size. The customer picks online, accepts and pays the deposit, and the job is created with the chosen components.

Can Getinto size solar systems automatically?

Not in the standard app. For installers who want automatic sizing from bills or roof data, we build custom proposal tools that connect to the rest of Getinto.
